Get Active for Lab Animals
Upwards of 70 million animals die in U.S. laboratories every year, at incredible public expense and with no results. What are you doing to help end animal experimentation?
Start by contacting NARN to see how to get more involved. NARN is active on the UW campus, engaged in educating the students and promoting humane alternatives to animal testing. NARN coordinates its actions with the UW student group Campus Animal Rights Educators (CARE), as well as other local groups.
To stay up to date on NARN activities, visit the NARN Action Calendar.
To contact NARN, write to info@narn.org or call (206) 250-7301.
Speak Up For Animals At UW Please start by sending a polite, succinct letter requesting that the University of Washington reevaluate its policies regarding animal experimentation, and commit to a long-term reduction of the use of any animals for science.

Buy And Support Only Cruelty-Free Products And Charities
Given the level of intentional obscurity regarding the research activities of universities and experimenters, it is often unclear what individuals can do to help make a change. However, all of us can contribute on a personal level by agreeing to buy only cruelty-free products and give only to those charities that agree to not support animal research.
